44 and 88 M street, at Tyber Place, are mixed use, class A office buildings in the revitalized NoMa neighborhood of Washington DC. They share a retail podium but stand as 2 separate towers. The project is integrated along the NoMa Meander, a green space stretching on several blocks.
Follow this link for more information about the context of NoMa, and this link for Tyber Place website.
The project was initiated several years ago and both buildings have been treated as independent permits. I worked along side Paul Schneider, Project Manager, from schematics for new design options to permit sets. Although both buildings share a common parking garage base and retail podium, they are modeled in different Revit versions, which creates an interesting challenge managing the Revit files and coordinating with the different contractors.
